Guide to in home pet care

Prior to your consultation

Please print out and complete the forms that we will email you.  Should you feel unsure as to how to answer
something on these forms
, please leave it blank and we will go over it together in your consultation.

Please have 2 ways for me to enter your home (i.e. Two sets of keys or 1 set along with a garage key
code/opener).  Two sets are requested in case one of them fails.

Create a password for your alarm company, which your pet sitter can use if the alarm is tripped.  Be sure to advise
your pet sitter of
the password.

Advise gate security that a pet sitter will be visiting your home and authorize entry or please provide a gate code.

Provided destination phone number, emergency contact information and departure & arrival dates.

In the unfortunate instance your pet needs medical attention while you are away, we will ask your Vet's name,
location & phone
number and have you sign a Vet Release.  It is advised that you make payment/billing
arrangements (i.e. Place a credit card on
file) with your Vet prior to your consultation.

Ensure your pet’s ID tags are attached to their collar and the information is up to date.

Tips & Suggestions

Consider leaving a television on or setting it on a timer.  Not only will it keep your pet company, it makes your home
seem occupied.  *Please advise your pet sitter if you choose this option so they will not be alarmed.*

Please set your thermostat to a comfortable level for you pet(s) prior to leaving.

Unplug any unused electronics before you leave to prevent damage from power surges and injuries to your beloved
pets.

Make sure the collar fits snuggly on your pet(s) so they do not slip out of it.

For pets who may suffer from separation anxiety, leave an article of your clothing with your scent on it.
